Broham Energy is NERS accredited for construction activities up to 132kV, excluding design. Where design services are required, the company appoints and manages approved specialist designers while retaining control of the wider delivery, interfaces, programme and compliance requirements.

Through the wider Broham Group, Broham Energy can also coordinate associated civils, utilities and construction works, providing clients with a flexible and streamlined delivery solution.

Broham Forecourts incorporated

Broham Forecourts established the group’s foundations in specialist forecourt construction. Over more than four decades, the business has developed extensive experience in petrol filling stations, roadside retail, service areas and complex live-site redevelopments.

It brought established construction capability across building works, fuel infrastructure, drainage, external works and complete forecourt delivery.

Pipeline Associates incorporated

Pipeline Associates expanded the group’s capability into regulated utility infrastructure, adding specialist expertise across water, gas and associated network services.

Its WIRS and GIRS capabilities strengthened the group’s ability to coordinate multiple utility connections and provide clients with a more integrated infrastructure package.

Elan Civil Engineering added dedicated civil engineering and groundworks capability to the group.

This enabled the delivery of substation compounds, cable routes, ducting, drainage, access roads, foundations and wider infrastructure for energy, utility, solar and battery storage developments.

Broham Energy completed the group’s integrated delivery model by introducing specialist electrical infrastructure and grid-connection capability.

As a NERS-accredited Independent Connection Provider, Broham Energy delivers new connections, substations, HV and LV cabling, private networks, testing, commissioning and energisation up to 132kV.

Together, the group can now provide a coordinated turnkey package encompassing electrical infrastructure, utilities, civils, forecourts and wider site construction.

What is an Independent Connection Provider (ICP)?

An ICP is an accredited organisation that can undertake contestable elements of an electricity connection, providing clients with an alternative route to delivery alongside the local Distribution Network Operator. The completed adoptable assets are transferred to the relevant DNO or IDNO where applicable.

Design is delivered through approved external design partners. Broham appoints and manages the designer as part of the overall delivery package, allowing the client to retain one coordinated project interface.
