Steadfast and durable, our GRP downpipes are ideal as a cost-efficient replacement for damaged guttering on heritage buildings.
Manufactured at our specialist facilities in Leeds, UK, our GRP products offer a sturdy downspout solution, and are available in a range of sizes as well as square, rectangular and circular profile options.
Offering one of the best strength-to-weight ratios of any construction material on the market, our GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) downpipes provide a durable, low maintenance alternative to traditional Cast Iron systems.
Our GRP downpipes are manufactured in 1.8m and 0.9m lengths as required, coming complete with sockets for ease of installation. All of our GRP pipes are glass fibre reinforced mouldings impregnated with Lloyds-approved resins, whilst special formulations of laminate provide the desired strength and rigidity.
All of our GRP downpipes are through-coloured, ensuring that their chosen colour does not fade or chip over time due to wear and tear. Coming in a cast iron black as standard, these can be ordered in custom colours at a premium, including BS5252 (inc BS4800) or RAL colours. They can also be colour matched to the palettes of Dulux, Little Greene or Farrow & Ball.
With a varied range of ornamental earbands also available to provide the finishing touches, your GRP downpipes can add style and sophistication to the exterior of your building.
Should you wish to install our GRP downpipes yourself, they are shipped as standard. Please be aware that we have certain recommendations when installing your GRP downpipes, which include using reactive cure sealant conforming to ISO11600 (which is available to purchase separately).
